Stamped Concrete vs. Pavers: What’s Best?
This is the most common question we get. While pavers look nice initially, they settle over time, creating uneven trip hazards and allowing weeds to grow between the joints. Stamped concrete offers the same aesthetic appeal but as a single, solid monolith.
With stamped concrete, you get the authentic look of Ashlar Slate, Cobblestone, or even Wood Plank, but you never have to pull a weed or reset a sunken brick. It is the superior choice for Northeast Ohio's freeze-thaw climate.

We treat every patio as a custom art project. By combining base colors with "release agents" (accent colors), we create depth and texture that mimics natural materials perfectly.
The Installation Process
1. Excavation & Forms: We remove sod/dirt and set forms to create the shape of your patio (curves are our specialty).
2. Pour & Color: We pour the concrete with the base color already mixed in for consistency.
3. Stamping: While the concrete is wet, we apply the accent color and press the heavy rubber stamps into the surface.
4. Wash & Seal: After curing, we power wash the excess release agent and apply a premium sealer to lock in the color.

Is stamped concrete slippery?
It can be when wet, which is why we add a non-slip additive (like shark grip) to the final coat of sealer to provide traction without ruining the look.
Does the color fade over time?
The integral color is permanent. The surface sealer may dull after 2-3 years, but a simple "wash and reseal" brings the vibrancy right back.
Can you stamp my existing patio?
No. Stamping must be done on fresh, wet concrete. However, we can remove your old patio and pour a new stamped one in its place.
