How much does a concrete patio cost in Ohio?

Concrete patio vs. pavers — which is better?
Both work, but a poured concrete patio is one continuous, reinforced surface with far fewer joints, so there’s less weed growth, less shifting, and less long-term maintenance than pavers. Concrete is also typically more cost-effective for larger open areas. Pavers can be easier to spot-repair, but they settle and need re-leveling over time.
How thick should a concrete patio be?
Most residential patios are poured at 4 inches over a compacted base, which is plenty for foot traffic and patio furniture. If you’re placing something heavy — a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen, or a structure — we’ll thicken the slab and adjust the base and reinforcement accordingly.
Will my concrete patio crack in an Ohio winter?
